Tactical Medical Class

Greg Ellifritz will instruct a TACTICAL FIRST AID & SYSTEM COLLAPSE MEDICINE CLASS on Sunday, Sept. 21 in Licking County. This is an 8 hour hands-on class that will develop proficiency in basic battlefield medical techniques utilizing the military's latest "Tactical Combat Casualty Care III" protocols. Students will learn to stop traumatic bleeding from gunshot and knife wounds using the latest pressure bandages, tourniquets, and hemostatic agents. Students will also learn simple patient assessment techniques, how to treat a sucking chest wound and tension pneumothorax as well as field fracture immobilization and expedient c-spine immobilization.

In addition, students will learn how to treat themselves and families in the event of a long-term breakdown in our current medical system. Wound cleaning and disinfection under field conditions, injection of local anesthesia and wound closure (including minor suturing) will be practiced in our "trauma lab". Information about what types of drugs to stockpile for natural disasters or a collapse in the health care system will be discussed, along with methods for legally acquiring those pharmaceuticals.

This class is limited to the first 20 PAID students and always sells out fast. Class is $125.

Second Call Defense - Self Defense Insurance for you and your spouse

What will you do AFTER a self defense shooting?

You've probably thought a lot about how you'll defend yourself if you're forced to use a firearm. But have you thought about what you'll do AFTER a self defense shooting?

We all have the right to defend ourselves. Unfortunately, you can still find yourself in a lot of trouble. You can be arrested, jailed, sued, fired, and bankrupted, even when you have legally and justifiably used a gun in self defense.

I recently joined an organization called Second Call Defense. And I recommend that you join as well.
